Hi Guy's,

Just needed some advice as to what one of these on a 1984 A-reg in 4-door guise is worth, done just over 100k, has no mot, needs an exhaust, has all the alpina bits inc steering gearknob, leather recaros, wheels badges spoilers etc.

"Whatever someone will pay for it" is the usual answer for Alpinas!

It's a four-door, so that might knock something off the value... but it's almost impossible to say. It clearly needs some work, so I'd say well below £1500, but it depends what the asking price is, and how badly you want it.

kidsinister, as little as that, I thought it would be worth more, basically I need it to put parts on my sport, trying to get it at well under a grand

Well, mine wasn't much more (£1900) and it's a C2.

Another C1 bites the dust, eh?

i bought mine for £ 600 but that was a real fluke to be honest ,right time right place kinda thing the guy did'nt have a clue what it was worth and the shell is 99% rust free which really surprised me as i was expecting a real fight with the old crispy bits all i have replaced body wise is the doors as they were a bit scabby at the bottoms.if someone asked me to sell it tommorow i dont think i would let her go for anything less than £3000 but saying that i wont be selling her for a very very long time (if ever)as its the best car i have owned.
at the end off the day its all subjective aint it.the wife says she's worth millions but i'd let her go for a couple of hundred 8O

Looks like a nice car Argos, will be lovely when restored - I stripped a car which had a few bits chucked in from a C1 2.3 with the same colours as yours, no seen what the car looks like with those colours until now - pretty damn nice.

Is this what you're putting back on?

when i was last in usa a friend of mine had bought an e46 m3 and it was white

he had type 4 acs rims on it with graphite centres and polished lip

it looked amazing, with imola red leather on the inside

i will look forward to that when its finished

Don't suppose you've still got one of those 7" Alpinas lying around, Argos?
