As some of you already know I've fitted a zone BTB 6 branch manifold and a Scorpion back box to my 327i and I had promised some exhaust sound clips. I've been waiting over a fortnight for my wireless mic to arrive and it finally turned up yesterday so here are some clips as promised.

Idle:

Full throttle:

Full throttle and downshift:

It certainly sounds louder than I expected  although the mic was only about 2 feet from the tailpipes !.

What do you think ?

I'm off on holiday for a week now so might not be able to reply

Cheers,

Iain T

Certainly does, hoofed it past a pub on the snakes pass (twisty country road) last weekend and there was a load of bikers there who stood up to see what bike was making the racket but it was me

Lovin the sound of that, sounds a bit different to my btb scorpion combo.
Probably the 2.7 motor, how old is you scorpion back box?

The back box was made in 1998, guess it's had time to blow most of the baffle packing out

I thought that having the boysen centre box would quieten the whole system down, obviously not.

I reckon it's the BTB 6 branch that makes it sound so different.

Cheers,
