E36 Advice
Moderator: martauto
Right, im going to be selling my sport soon so i can get an e36 325i coupe, basicaly im too young to keep the sport in the condition it needs to be kept in, i just want a normal car thats like every other one so i can take it down the beach and leave till the early hours without worrying about some chav trying to break into it, scratching the paint etc,
Few questions, how much could i pick up a reliable e36 325i coupe for and i was told its worth going for the early one which doesnt have the vanos, this true?

No way im giving up spending nights down the beach with half naked girls mate, everyones horny as fcuk down there, me and my mate waslked past and a bunch of 15 year old girls said ooo big boys!, was awesome despite looking around for coppers.
I didnt do anything with them by the way, will wait till there 16 so its legal, anyway, back to the topic at hand lol.

personally craig, you are most likely to have to deal with the same issues on an E36 mate that you encounter on an E30 in terms of replacing worn out stuff and keeping the tin worm at bay, parts are going to be similar price I would reckon.

..........
Seriously, would you not consider just buying a thrasher small hatch or van (might suit your runs to the beach perfectly

I dont wanna go from a tech 1 sport to a normal e30 though mate.

your not going to be abill to fund the e36 with the money from your sport. its bent isnt it.
a satisfactory 325i coupe can be bought for around 1.5k up.
most of these early cars have been molested. you get plenty on ebay. nasty scrap.
e36"s coupes still look nice.

Its not bent just a dent at the back, it wont be for sale untill its all fixed and on the road anyway, had an offer to do a swap for an e36 coupe but sadly the e36 turned out to be in poor condition.
It will be going on ebay with a reserve soon.

On that by the way i could fund e36 money just by breaking the sport, but thats the last thing i wanna do.jonb wrote:dom

Sport definetley looks better than a standard e36 i think think an e36 would be less hassle than keeping a low milage e30 mint.
