That's well nice mate! Leather inside?

Think if you service the car on a regular basis like every 6k miles the car would run so smooth! The oil especially along side the coolant & filters. Spark plugs not a biggy but need replacing on the odd occassions!

Do that & your fine!

looks good mate, what drop did u go for in the end, Stu is gonna help me lower mine before ace's, Got just H&R springs that will give her a 400mm drop all round, which should look lower with the tec1 kit i'm fitting at present

my advice would be if your going to keep is to replace every suspension component.

things like trailing arm bushes and front top mounts should be ok but replace the rest including engine mounts, gearbox mounts, diff bush. She will drive like new and more importantly handle as it should.

you will soon know if the shocks and springs are worn then.

imo though if u lower car with shocks and springs, i would go the whole hog and strut brace the front and thicker anti roll bars front and rear. This will really get your shocks and springs working. U get more use out of them

thats what i did on my old sport anyway and it was class around the nurburgring in the 30 or so laps i did in it round there

Anyways i want your car mike, always wanted a sterling sport with leathers but could never find the right one, so i settled for a 66,000 mile lachs one instead!

it started of 35mm, then i managed to get hold of some 60/40 cupkit springs on their own without the shocks as i had better ones!

Sadly i've sold the sport to my bro-in-law who is now selling it! I put the car back to standard for him as he wasn't into all that stuff really

H&R Cup Kit fella, drop it 40/40 or something. Like we discussed previously, don't bother with the 60's because of the area you live in.

Mine is 40/40 now after having it at 60/60 when i brought it, the pain of speed bumps mainly those harsh ones in supermarket car parks i had the problem with. There are not to many speed bumps round by mine however they are tricky to manouver over.

I got the 60/60 set up on mine, with a sub in the back. Basically my car's a 2 seater

Going to get the 60/40 set up. I know you mean about speed bumps fella, they're a nightmare!
