old tired leather that has no tears, rips, or stiching that is coming away but that has surface cracks with the natural biege colour of the hide coming through the cracks on your comfortable leather interior and would like to know what can be done to give it new lease of life without giving it a Ԛ£500+ retrim, then go and get some liquid leather. (no association with company, just wanted to share the knowledge). here are some before and after pics of my leather once it had been treated with this stuff, my god, what a bloody good bargain this stuff is, it totally transforms the look of the car. and if you use it with the doors and windows closed it almost brings on exsessive floor varnish style hallucenations aswell

take a look.

hi looking good

this stuff is the best no question
all can see the results just with the cleaner and conditioner

this company also do scuffmaster kits
they will match the colour to your leather ie to get perfect match to a little piece u send them from under a seat etc

kit consists of bottle of repair/filling in fluid that will fill cracks and cover nicks and wear and little application sponges and a bottle of stuff that u mix with repair/filling in stuff to highten or lesen the gloss so you ca match exact

u use a spong and apply all over and on cracks u use it thicker and use edge of sponge or matchstick to fill cracks
it dries rubbery ie the same as what is on the leather from factory and i can tell u its permanent

i have done bolsters and whole seats and whole trims

it really is amazing stuff

hi chris
u wont regret that at all
it goes miles and miles

the z6 is addictive as feck u will see what i mean!

z1 and zfx do same thing really

z1 is like a pre prep ready to allow z3 and/or z5 to bond really well

if you use the zfx with the z3 it accelerates the cure time and means u dont need the z1
BUT

i use both to be fair as i find it works better may be just a mind thing but i think it does

i have emailed wayne and im waiting for a reply

chris i have sh*t loads of stuff here and ive got some precleanse here that you can have
ill dig it out
pm me your address and ill get it to you

it really will make a difference if u do it before

Yes I agree very good stuff have used it for the past few years.First used it on mine about 3yrs ago. They were not as bad as yours but brought them up really shiney. And depending on what finish you want you can bring them up dull as well.I surpose it depends on if you use the car every day as too how often you will need to redo.Even did the steering wheel in it.Took about 4-5 days to do.To let each application to dry for a least 24hrs.End results excellant.Well worth the money.

yes, any colour. its just a conditioner that re moisturises the leather making the cracks close up again and helping to restore the suppleness of the skin.

Gliptone Liquid Leather is "da bomb"! I put most of a bottles worth into my old 4cyl and the effects were amazing, the leather went all soft and supple again with the cracks filled in :gay:
And as for how long the finish lasts you could ask Demlotcrew as he has my car now :teehee:

guys,

question.

I need the cleaner and conditioner-thats obvious on the site.

But on the order form its not clear regarding the scuff master kit. Now i require this, but do i then need to fill in my car details/leather details and get a 250/500/1litre bottle of the other stuff(colourwash is it?) additionally?

its not clear ...

Hi Guys,

I have just recently started selling both the Gliptone Liquid Leather Cleaner and Conditioner. Up until now I have just been selling it on eBay but after having a bit of a browse around on here I noticed it is quite popular amongst you guys.
If anyone is intersted in buying from me my prices are below. These are a little discounted on my eBay prices as I have knocked the eBay seller fees off. If you would like to check my eBay feedback my ID is d.c.motorcare.

Gliptone Leather Cleaner and Conditioner - Ԛ£12.20
Gliptone Leather Conditioner - Ԛ£7.40
Gliptone Leather Cleaner - Ԛ£6.30

As far as I can find these are the cheapest prices you can get the Gliptone Cleaner and Conditioner for on the internet. All the prices include delivery via Royal Mails First Class service. The bottles will be dispatched the day payment has been received if before 3:30pm. Payment can be accepted by cheque or Paypal. If paying by Paypal my address is dcmotorcare@dsl.pipex.com - Please make sure you add to the payment your address and what you are ordering.

The best way to contact me if you are interested is via e-mail on dcmotorcare@dsl.pipex.com - I am online pretty much all day and night with my job so you will get a speedy reply.

Many Thanks
Danny

Hi,

I can help you with the conditioner and cleaner no probs but you will have to go direct to gliptone for the scuff master as it has to be the certain shade for your leather.

Thanks
Danny
