Needing some advice on price for my 320i, i've been looking in the For sale section to get an idea for prices, but so far i can't spot a 320i there at all 8O

She's done 115k but has had a SERIOUS amount of money spent on her in the last 6 months with recepts to prove all work (Mechanical and replaceables) as listed below

Full BMW service: Maintenance 2 (At 108k back in January)
New water pump
New Cambelt
New dizzy complete and leads
New front discs and pads
4 new tyres (Avon ZV3s) Rears only 1 month old.
New Pi springs
New BMW rear spring rubbers
Powerflex Subframe bushes
4 wheel alignment
All told over £900 spent

Due to have its oil changed in a few weeks time along with fresh plugs and filters, and go in for it's MOT

Just wondering on price but with a full year's MOT and 3 months tax, along with all the above, and since it's got TSW Alloys, a full SE leather interior with Alpine speakers (components in front, 2 way's in back) and a Sony CDX Blank face stereo would £1150onvo be asking a lot?

It would be a real shame to sell it after spending that much on the car. Being a student aint the end of the world you know, maybe keep her for the 1st year and see how the money situ goes? As long as your sensible(ish) you should be ok

Back on topic, the price sounds very good considering the money spent.

Can't really warrent it, my rent for the 1st year alone is £3k! and with my insurance being about £800 odd and what with fuel prices being the way they are i can't justify keeping the car without a decent income.
All i hope is she goes to a loving home, and after 4 years i might offer to buy her back so i can do some serious improvements to the car (M3 E30 engine, carbon fibre seats, caged etc )

oxford isn't the best place to have a car!

it just seems not sensible to me to spend the dollar and not keep and reep some of what u have spent is how i see it

but if it has to go then so be it

Thats what the student loans for tho mate.

If it has to go then fair enough, someone will get a steal at that price - and by the looks of it a fantastic car.

Good luck with the sale

I'd rather not be flat broke, besides i'd need to pay more just to get the car on campus which isn't helping me at all, not to mention it won't recieve the level of care i'd like to do with it as i've already been doing and thusly reduce the value and undo the work i've had done.
