Take the badge out, filler it in, smooth over with 150 sandpaper, snap off the worms you get comin out of the badge holes. I 1000 the whole bonnet aswell cus it was in a bit of a state and was gonna paint the whole thing, go over the filler with finishing filler (bit finer for any air bubbles), primer the filler and any spots where youve sanded down to the metal with high build primer, sand that lightly to get rid of the rough surface with 1000 (always use soaking wet btw), n paint. i used cans and got an orange peel effect so now im using selulous paint from a gun, ill post pics after its finished.

the only reason people de-badge their car is coz deep down, they're not really proud of what they're driving, ie saxo's, ford fiesta's, etc...

dont debadge a BMW, be proud to drive one

mines already de-badged.. not sure if I like it though.. but it's got a custom paint job.. so it's not as easy as unplug and play!

OT.. Anyone know who can do a decent paint job on a touring.. including rusty sills round the Bucks area?

Not necesarily, I de-badged my Civic Type-R. I think it mkes the back of the car look much cleaner when it's debadged in general.

Actually it was just the Civic badge winkeye winkeye

You had to keep the Type-R badge as it's a symbolic, a bit like an M badge although not as prestigious. It's also not mouned in the same place as BMW 325/318 etc badge. When I say debadge the BMW I meant remove just the 325 part, not the BMW badge aswell that would look like a max muppet!
