is there a test that can be done on the fuel pump to determine if its fcuked?the car isnt starting, there isnt fuel coming through the pipe feeding the fuel rail and there isnt the ticking noise i used to get from the pump so its either the pump or something electrical related im guessing :?

connect it directly to 12 volts.

the green is + and the brown is -

sometimes they get jambed (if the filter is holed)
sometimes you can get it to work again by hitting it with a hammer

connected it directly to a battery and after a few taps with a hammer it fired up again,it was clogged full of shit so changed the filter as well ,started a couple of times then jambed again.got a new uprated walbro 255 escort cosworth pump coming tomorrow which was £30 cheaper than a standard e30 pump from ECP 8O
