I'd be VERY greatful if anyone out there could tell me what this is and where it goes!

It is a large 2-pin plug that is dangling down from where the glovebox would be. I don't know if it's a coincedence but the heater blower does not work, but I can't see any un-filled plugs around the heater and the fuse is ok! :cry:

That looks like the plug for the glove box torch!

Its for the glovebox torch, that socket clips into the glovebox on the right hand side.

My car didn't have a torch when I got it so that's why I didn't recognise it!
