right fella's i have problem number 1 :- Just bought another e30 for the mrs,
speedo doesnt work, but needle suddenly jumps up from time to time, revs and mpg dont work at all, temp reading high but when you hit the panel or give it a tap it drops down to normal half way temp, fuel gadge seems to work fine but im yet to run it down to red! The thing that worries me most is the temp reading "obviously" yet ive left the car running still for about 30 mins and no sign of overheating problems...
The car is a great drive and looks reasonably clean, the temp thing is the most important of all but could this be a faulty sensor of some sort?
Problem 2:- on the touring, Speedo has packed in, any help regarding the above faults would be magic fella's thank you

Do a search using the word 'instrument' and lots of previous technical posts come up (As Brian said - all been covered previously).
