hi guys, my steering column arrived from jonb this afternoon, and im out there attacking the car at the momnet.
can anyone shed any light onto this job as im struggling a bit!
ive got all the panels/cowlings out the way, and i can see 4 bolts on the column. brianmoore told me these were thief-proof bolts or something. if so, how do i go about removing them?
any help would be appreciated. thanks guys

i didnt undo them. when jonb sent me his column, he hadnt undone his, so all the brackets and that were still on there.
instead, i removed the steering coupling off the bottom of the column, and then kep whacking the column forward to remove it from its mount behind the dash. then when i put the other one in, i just simply tapped it into place, and put the steering coupling back on
only things is, now i've got no bloody steering lock! any suggestions brian?
oh, and also smashed the horn contact to smitherines when neil distracted me! b*st*rd!!
