I've been looking out for a pair of 8Js for ages and i think my patience is about running dry. So, I'm probably about ready to buy new ones, if they are still available. I've already got 4 used 7Js but the 8Js are hen's teeth!

Does anyone know if they are still available new and I guess it would be a dealer thing? I'd imagine they'd be about Ԛ£350 a piece.

If you're buying new, you might as well enquire about a full set of 17's as were fittred to Z1's.. now they ARE like hens teeth... 8)

found the ones u are after 8 x 16 yea? 300 a peice

look on www.koed.dk

and click in to nye dele (new parts)

look on the list for alpina and u should see the listings
not an easy site to navigate though as its in danish and its a locked site so no separate page addresses (lame)

but i have been there and there are like 400 (no bull) 3Ԛ´ers in thier forcourt!!
they may have them as theyԚ´re new parts, but i wouldnԚ´t reckon it as they are so rare

if you can get 8j rears for 300 each then i reckon that's pretty darn good. i was quoted 340 for 7j fronts from sytners. that's just the wheel, no cap, lock or badge. they'll get the rears for you if you ask them.

John if your selling i would definately have 1 off you provided it's straight etc! Thats if you will split them?!

I know how you feel i have 8j's but one was bent. It's just had the full Lepsons treatment and they have actually straightened it. It's as true as the others now. I'm well pleased.

You can definately buy from the dealer, but they are made by Ronal so maybe try them aswell?

45 plus VAT i haven't paid it yet!

story is i bought the set in really rough condition and took a chance on this particular 8j.

Had them refurbed at spit and polish Ԛ£50 each. They didn't sort this wheel, which they were supposed to.

So it was still on straight and vibrating on the m-way and getting on my tits so i gave it to Lepsons via Ant. I will get the other 3 done againg to match this wheel, as the finish on it is far superior my spit and polish wheels. Plus they would look odd!

I saw 2 8j's go on e-bay last summer for under Ԛ£200! no caps though
