thats ok Tng, we'll be your shoulder to cry on!!
you gotta admit though, women are a f*cking pain in the ARSE!!!
they're always trying to stop you from having anything that isnt drectly involved with them! and even when you try and involve her in your beloved auto-mobile, her reaction is "i dont want anything to do with some dirty shitty car"
"f*ck off then!!"
mine nows the score now! she eithers excepts it or she's history! although she did comment on how she liked my new Tech 2 wheel(thanks bob_s), which i just had reconalised and treated!! good girl...

My other half rolls her eyes a bit when a parcel arrives - it's always 'car bits' (or bike bits at the mo!). She loves the car though, & doesn't mind me spending money on it... It's the days spent under the car rather than with her that annoy a bit more!

To be honest, as long as the household bills and mortgage are paid I really could not care less what Neil spends his money on. He works for it, and he works bloody hard. So why shouldnt he have a little to spend on his car?

fair play

Ive got to say Im suprised with the amount of tolerant wives/gf but Sarah is exactly the same.
I have just spent a couple of months wanting some tweaks on my M3 having said once I did the suspension I wasnt going to touch it again (apart from maintaining) and she just said 'You let me have clothes so spend some money on your car'
And if that wasnt good enough she let me touch her lady lumps!!

Read it again, that was a devious statement.. "YOU let me have clothes (means if I want clothes, I'l fecking have 'em, I'll make you believe it was your decision), "So spend some money on your car (You can only spend your money on your car when I say. I wear the trousers, I call the shots and control you)Falkster wrote:Ive got to say Im suprised with the amount of tolerant wives/gf but Sarah is exactly the same.

I reckon the snake with t*ts anaolgy is spot on. Women are devious creatures by nature. Always ask "What will she get out of this or get back, how will she gain" For anything she seems comfortable with you doing, that she probably shouldn't.
My missus is the same. Has taken me 3 years to open my eyes to it and now I don't stand for it. She does like my car and wants to go on the insurance though. Oh she really loves e30 M3's too. Shame I just don't have any fecking money to spend on my car!!!!

My GF loves the IS, when ever we go to Wales she always want to drive on the "good roads"! Oh well keeps her vaguely intersted!
Oh and it helps that I haven't spent anymoney on cars since October, rather, have made a fair amount...so we get to go on holidays to Kenya!

I know. I had good intentions, thinking he may read this thread and think ahhh how sweet... "I will let her have a new exhaust and roof". You have rumbled me now
You sound just like sal for a moment there..lol
Some interesting comments.
Not been on here for awhile as I've just got out of hospital,Roy been working on the cars, and doing the shopping and all the household chores .As for what he spends on the cars what ever he buys for his he always buys the same for mine.So I cannot really complain can I.
