Hi guys,

Hope you can put some light into this?

What do different e30 models have in their tool kits??

Cheers.

The only ones I can think of at the moment are the longer spark plug wrench on the 318is and you will get an allen key if the car has an electric sunroof (to manually wind it in case of problems). I'm sure someone else out there will have other itmes to note!

The White nylon locking cap piece that normaly is missing.

I just scrapped the original tool tray and replaced it with a full E34 one - fits perfectly into an E30 and also incorperats (typo) the hazard warning triangle winkeye

isn't the plug spanner also different between an ORDINARY 318 (or 316) and the six-cylinder cars?

i.e. the spark plugs are different widths?

Stuart, Are the tools still available from the dealers? if so what is the cost of a full set.

I lent a couple to a mate when his fiesta turbo broke down and have never seen them again.

(anyone want to sell me a full set on the cheap )
