My Golf GTI mk1 servo arrived today (bought off Ebay), is fitted on the car with E30 master cylinder. All seems good there.
Went to scrapyard for a few bits, ended up getting manual window mechanisms (my E30 is on a diet).
New rubber fuel hoses fitted, old ones cracked and perished.
Got all the coolant hoses on, rad in and full of water - no leaks yet but putting electric fan on tomorrow and run the engine, then re-torque the head bolts.
Tried tightening up the crank pulley nut with car in gear and nearly pulled it off the ramps and axle stands! Do that later with car on floor and someone pressing the brake pedal!
