alternative ignition live..

i need to find an alternative ignition live for my head unit as the standard ignition live has been removed which used to connect to the head unit..

where in the car can i join my head unit ignition live ?

IF YOU HAVE A TEST LIGHT, JUST START LOOKING FOR ONE THAT ONLY COMES ON WITH THE IGNITION. tHE EASIEST WAY TO FIND THESE ARE IN THE FUSE BOX. ONCE YOU FIND ONE, TRACE IT TO THE CENTER OF THE DASH....

Green wires are ignition live, second switch position, unfused. Purple wires are ignition live first and second switch positions, unfused.

Won't work doing this. Most wires with a brown tracer will light a test light, but they aren't 12V lives.
