Ok finally fitted my Scorpion exhaust system after 5 hours yes 5 hours, I was also violated during the fitting by another zoner (u know who u r).

Anyway what im trying to find out is how long before the tone gets deeper the exhaust is about 4 months old and im guessing it was only run for about 3 months.

It does sound good already but i was just curious, so see about bedding in period etc

thanks
Neil

cain the nuts out of your motor down the motorway and you will hear it change.
the scorpion is a beautifil noise you have heard jon bouy's (my old one) and it is very raspy
that what you want as it burbles its head of when you de-acellerate

While we're here ... anyone know if a Scorpion connecting pipe (from cat to back box) will fit with my Supersprint backbox without problems ???

Scorpion make a connecting pipe specifically to fit fit their back box up to the standard cat.
If I fit this to my cat then will my Supersprint fit on to the pipes without trouble ...ie are the "in" pipes on a Scorpion and SUpersprint the same size ???

That make sense now ??

on the 2nd pic that is the scorpion connecting pipe the back box has slip connections to the pipe.

Have you got a pic of the connection off the back of ur box in ur other thread???

Don't think so but it is also a slip joint on the box ... ie 2 small cut outs on each side of the pipe. Was just wondering if the pipes will fit into the back box .... ie Supersprint is designed to fit onto standard BMW pipes (so has the same size "in" pipes as a standard BMW backbox) .... does the Scorpion backbox "in" pipes have the same "standard" size ???
