How can you tell the if a head is a real Alpina M20 B3 2.7 Head? Are there any numbers or identification to look out for?
I've seen a head for sale at the wreckers who claim its an Alpina head but it may just be a worked head.

Cheers

Later cars have Five.

The numbers are just above to the right of the thermostat housing, vertically stamped on a raised part of the head.
