I have fitted a nice Aerial from a E46/Z4 blah blah but what is the deal to connecting my exsisting lead to this aerial what type of connection is required

Is there a co-axial cable on the aerial you fitted? It should then have a standard male or female coaxial connector on it so you should be able to connect to existing aerial cable in boot.
