ive seen a few e30s with this done, i know its not a straight fit but is it something that can be adapted or will new subframes need to be fabricated to fit them in?

i fitted e36 seats in my cab without welding i bolted the rear down to existing holes and made new one for the front, bootyman fitted vaders in one of his cabs and had the bolt threads welded in

Considering Selling the Cabby, looks like its gonna go
i made brackets
i think i only used the rear inner bolt placement, rest had small pieces of metal drilled on both sides, one to mount the brackets to the seat, the other to the car chasis
it's a real pain to remove the seats, as i need to remove 7 bolts before the seat can be lifted out
but it's really cool to have those seats in.....

Is it? I'm not sure. A friend has just decked his E36 in them and 'Wow' I thought, 'These are coooool'.
But do they look right or too modern in an E30?

Should've mentioned: If you are going to re-drill mounting points for seat they have to be somewhere very substantial or have strengthening welded around them.
The LAST thing you want to think before you fly out of your car in a crash is: 'I wish I hadn't bodged these seats in, they've torn through the metal for me....splat'
