hi, when i say spark i mean not firing( just turns over but no bite) this is strange as this car always starts on first turn of key.
ps, i came home from work today and she started first turn, but this is common for this to happen.

Could it be a dodgy distributer perhaps that is only sometimes working? I would check to see if you really are getting a spark when it will not start. Take the spark plug out, re-connect the HT lead and hold the side of the spark to the engine. get soneone to turn the ignition and you should see if there's a spark there or not.

Take the plug out as above after you have been trying to start it, and see if it is wet with petrol before you test for a spark.
