Steel wheels that fit E30s - to get me through BBS refurb.

Thinking of getting my 4 hole - 15" BBS wheels refurbished,

Anybody know if a set of Volvo S40 steel wheels would fit? These are available to use during the refurb, are 4 hole and have ok tyres.

If anybody has tried this before and knows if the hole centres and offset would work it would save me the hassle of trying it out.

No idea on full size wheels, but the spacesaver spare I carry in my LPG powered touring was from a Volvo. Had to enlarge the centre hole slightly.

Brian,

Will wait a while in case anybody reports back and if not will try it,
If the spacesaver fits it looks like the hole centres match at least,

MkII golf fit. I think mkIII do except the GTi. Opel 4x100 dont the hub is too small

the volvo ones wont fit the pcd is 1x114..... most other 4 stud will except ford and pug/cit.
vw 4 stud is deffo, renault too cos i gave my mate a set of clio steels when he was refurbing his rims. honda and rover ones should go on. not too sure about the centre bore. correct me if im wrong.

My space saver is definitely Volvo (embossed into the steel), and is definitely same PCD as an E30. No idea what Volvo model it came from though. It was in a scrap yard pile of wheels.

Renualt 19 wheels fit the e30,I bought an old 325 wi a set o r19 16v alloys on it

The centre holes a bit too big tho

the volvo steel that you have got off a old 440 the older volvos are 4 x 100 the newer volvos are 4 x 114.
