thers a geeza down me local area selling his e30 m3 he says to me the car belongd to a young man from the north west of london who got himself into trouble with wrong people and the young man came to him jus to get rid of the car so the people wont find. NOW THE POINT.
his sayin to me its mine for £2500!! i got all excited and said yes the drive was fine jus needs a bit of body work where its been kicked in probably a few hundread quid worth.
ive gone to the house and looked at the V5 and it's registerd as 320i thats when i thought ok somethings fishy, so i made up an excuse and said ill be returning. i then came home and done a hpi cheak and its come up clear.
i than rang him and asked whys its registerd as 320 he says to me when it came over it got registerd like this i guess but i cannot belive that he has no previous paperwork he also said to that a number of these are like that. now im stuck and confused can anyone help me because i really dont want to pass on this sweet deal the guy himslef looks legit he just wants to get rid of him and his brother have got 2 skylines 1 scooby and 1 mitsubishi evo and e36 evo so you can understand why this has to go
but before i buy i need to know if this is legit or not any recomendations? 8O

Sounds dodgy as fook to me

Surely when imported it would have M3 on the V5??
Dont know but Simon or someone i think will confirm!

Or its a ringer,or its a reshell?

Id be sceptical of this being a smooth deal, tread carefully,£2500 is a lot to lose

I'd stay away from it mate. Sounds like a copy to me. I've imported a few M3's to the UK and you take your German logbook and thy copy what's on there. I really cant see how they can put a 320 on the logbook if the car is a M3. Also ask yourself who in their right mind would sell a M3 for £2500

If you have the chassis and plate numbers, then pop into your local DVLA office, they might be able to shed some light onto the situation. I have seen 'peculiar' descriptions on V5's before when all is legitimate, but be careful!

Steer well clear!!!

If it was genuine why would it say 320 on the V5?? Even if it was an error when registering then you can amend any errors!! As for the £2500 price tag, it either wants 5k spending on it or its a damn bargain.

Either way stay well away because no matter what it could be a money pit.

The general consensus(sp) seems to be stay well clear!! But just look in to it and ring up DVLA like the guys are saying, with your chassis and vim number, see what they say, you could be very unlucky or very lucky!!

I'd agree it sounds well dodgy situation... but,

The dvla / importers are notorisouly crap with V5s on imports. When i imported my nissan it came through as a toyota despite filling out all the forms myself (dvla), i also had a mate with a 300zx which they registered as 'nissan 2-door' (lazy importer) so don't make that the only thing you decide on.

Cheers

lol dont buy it if its stolen fuck that!! imagine how ud feel if someone stole your e30 then your m8 bought it!! fuck that i know wat its like to have a car stolen and never would i have someone elses stolen car

dont get me wrong i know some villans and if needed i can get e46 m3s for like 450 quid but im not into that shite for ppl that have no mercy¬!! winkeye

good luck if it turns out to be ok though but sounds well iffy although priced reasonably for such a dodgy car normally itd be about 500 quid if it was stolen :?

bimzee,

bro i got a Mauritius blue motorsport cab, with 17"Azevs, which ill be changed this week for something very wide and bling this week :D

normally in girls car bro, she has got a VW Polo Gti, running on polished Porsche D90's.

The car is situated near Seven Kings, near Macdonalds. I dotn really know the area that well.

it worth about 1500, he would probably take it too, and just strip it bro.

It has half leather, colour coded centre 16inch BBS, and all the other parts.

i wouldnt buy it to keep, you will get fooked! especially in Ilford!
