I just noticed that some git seems to have sprayed my car with something that has eaten the paint!!!?!!!
Along the wings i now have tiny dots where the paint has diappeared. or patches where the shine has just vanished!!?!
...was hoping to wait for a respray until the car was mech tip top.... no choice now i guess! B*stards!?!?!
Any clues on good Hants painters? (and not too pricey).... actually its curerntly sterling silver, would this be a good opp to totally change.... hmmm?
Ruined my paintwork!?!

That would prbably be paint thinner they've used, some sick people get a kick out of ruining paintwork.
You don't see sterling silver e30's that often (my 4dr is) I would stick with the same colour, makes it cheaper too as you dont have to do engine bay etc.

Apparantly, brakefluid can actually remder the metal impossible to paint on again, so I've heard. I guess that would be in larger quantities than you're describing.

Will take it to a paint sprayer and see what they suggest!
Anyone used a reputable one in the Hants area?
