When was the last time, you ran your fingers along the inside of your rear wheel arches.

I was shocked how much soil and salt Ive just discovered on my Golf and three E30's.

Honestly you could fill a Hanging basket with the shite Ive just discovered.
No wonder these things rust so bad at the rear wheel arch.

I stuck the hose pipe in and ran all the way round on all the cars.

Cheers Gareth.

you should have an old sponge to give them a wash with like i do with mine. do you do under the side skirts aswell. they are much better when clean too. as is around the inside of the bootlid and under the bonnet. and in the openings on the pop out rear windows (on the coupe).

e30s are good looking cars but there are some serious design flaws in the car things like the hinges are welded so that water sits in them and rusts well and the arches the boot lid the list go's on.......lol well done bm............................. :D ................j

I always do the arches on mine when it's bath time. Good rinse with the hose then soapy water and a re-rinse.

Makes the old girl faster as she's not carrying so much extra weight.
