Guys..most of yer know the cab, some have seen it so now i ask for yer help on choosing some rims though im on a tight budget £800tops with tyres..

Dont want any smaller than 16's..

Really want Toplines as i think there look pretty cool on the cab but cost permitting and all that

Any ideas?

Oh and no Pina's please.. i already know about them and orig 16's are in the running already

I think there are three wheels that look outstanding on the E30, Hartges, genuine Alpinas and BBS split rims. Split rims are silly money, fiddly to clean, and horrifically expensive to refurbish. So I would lean towards one of the first two sets.... though I do have a set of each for sale.. :D

I rekon its a blessing in disguise that your toplines weren't right, they are so council they could probably claim benefit.... IMO.

I'd agree with this. The car has to be very low to pull these off, but if it is then they look awesome

Theo, info on the Hartges please

Yep,Already looked at those graphite ones..not sure black would look anygood on a cream car.the graphite wolf's are prolly top of my list right now

900 for yer toplines?, na sry dude too much money.. if they were VGC and had pretty decent rubber then 800 would be my max then its the problem of getting em etc..cant be bothered now..too mnay upsets with this car over the last few weeks..just wanna drive the thing now

Got to say, don't like either of those wolfrace ones or the last ones you linked too. Way to modern and in my opinion nasty for the smooth square lines of a cab. I think some 16" hartges are the way forwards, I am slightly biased though. Good strong wheel, but that crucial inch bigger than 15" bbs etc etc.

Jamz anythign with an offset of more than about 25 (or less!) will screw your ride up, especially at high speed. I once tried a set of Oz superturismos on my Is, 17s much to my disgust, and above 60 it was like being on colossus at thorpe park, the only other option with high offet wheels is spacers but thats more dollar!

and spacers make you go through wheel bearings like they're going out of fashion!!

Is it only the BK series that have that annoying wobble with the Pina reps?

Rochford do the 17 with Avon tyre upgrade for £550 but are they BK's?

And im guessing the offset would be no good here too:

Keeping with the pina look...17's:
Image

Borbet~A's 16's
Image

# # # T's 16's (not sure on 4 stud fitment)
Image

Could look nice?
Image

Keskins 16's
Image

Rear 9's/Front 7.5's... need some advise on the et here though
as its ET 35 & 15 mm

Liking these the best ATM..sorta similar design to the topline but look just as nice if not better..anyone got any ideas on what i would expect to pay for rubber for these?

cheers  Image

keskins ara a 50/50 bet as they are common and dont think they 100% suit the e30. try find a classic lookind rim. The brbet, which looks like the alps is a nice rim but depends on what you want. winkeye

ok.. So i dont think i can go wrong with the alpina spoke look but something a bit different
would look even better, still keeping the old school look too..
how about these and there 17's too which IMO would look quite tasty.. just gota hope the gunmetal colour would look ok:

Never likes that design.. back in the day when that design came out my m8 put em on a ford escort cab but obviouly they didnt have the lip on em..looked farkin pants..tbh ive yet to see a motor they look good on..

Honestly dont think they would suit the cab Ed

What about this Et thing too bud? i got no idea what i do there..do i not get rims that have an et different to et25? if thats the case then i might aswell start over again
