Hi Guys, in the middle of a coolant change, all went well till I was bleeding the system, raised revs, twisted the bleed screw slightly and it snapped, so I am now left with no top to the bleed screw and it in the open position Ie, still leaking coolant, no screw head so no way of closing it and no way of removing the bleed screw from the hole.......HELP PLEASE.

Any ideas what I should do?. Shut down the engine since it was getting hot but the system is not bled and I dare not drive it.

By the way it's a 318iS and the bleed screw is located on the top of the reservoir, the screw is plastic as is the screw hole so don't want to damage it.

Please help, dying here....lol, first bit of DIY I do and it all goes t*ts up!.

I had the same problem once-ended up warming a small flat screwdriver on the cooker, then pressed hard into what was left and turned at the same time, worked for me!
