are the disks machined?
what car are the calipers off and are they still single piston?
Plus won't you need a custom bracket to move the caliper back?
Donor car parts?!

Simon
I can get the disks machined for Ԛ£50-Ԛ£60 including the adapter rings
Calipers would really NEED to be 4 pots(not really worthdoing the conversion otherwise)available from an E38 7 series/E31/8 series. or from a Seat Ibiza cupra sport/Ford Focus RS/Alfa Romeo even Nissan 300zx/ScoobyImpreza/Mitsi lancer Evo/Porsche/Skyline etc.
the list is endless
Some of these calipers will accept a 28mm disc and some would require a caliper spacer to be made
AND
You are correct.
It will require the fabrication of a caliper bracket.

Your quite correct.I would definitely be onto a nice little earner
However, there would be quite a bit time and travelling involved going round all the "local breakers yards" sourcing calipers(who will undoutably charge different prices) and then fabricating several different caliper mounting brackets to make the kits fit.
These factors would inevitably increase the price to a point where It may no longer be viable.
This way,I supply the disks ready to fit and then its up to whoever purchases them to decide which calipers THEY would like to fit(whether it be 2nd user calipers from a scrappy or new Wilwoods/AP Racing/Brembo/Alcon/Tarox/Hi Spec items).
Or
Some of the following suggestions supplied by Andy335iTouring

E34 3.6ltr M5 315x28 discs with single piston sliding caliper
E34 540 302x28 discs with single piston sliding caliper

E23 735 280x25 discs with 4 piston caliper

E32 750 302x28 discs with single piston sliding caliper

E31 850 324x30 discs with single piston sliding caliper

Dave, I'm looking for someone to fabricate some caliper brackets and custom bells in order to use some Brembo calipers from a Mitzy with larger discs.

The rear disc bells require a replica of the E30/Compact handbrake drum internally.

If this is something you can help with, I am prepared to pay a good price as I realise this will be expensive as a 'one off'.

Any good to you?

Cant help with the custom mounting bells.
I don't have access to the equipment required to do the job.
My mate just did mine for a little cash on the side when he had some spare time at work.
Caliper brackets (radial or lug mounted ones) would be within my and his capabilities.
In order to do them though,I'd need a caliper and the new disc and bell.Cos Mitsibishi calipers are not something I've got lying around.
Sorry

Cheers Dave.

I want someone to do the brackets and bells together as they're relevant to each other re offset etc, also they can specify the disc.

this is a good idea, ive been thinking about doing this myself as i work in a machine shop ,just one of those jobs i've never got around to doing yet.

When i was looking into this i noticed fiat coupe's have nice 4 pot brembos ,and the porsche 4 pots from porche breakers aren't to expensive neither.

OK Dale
Once I've got it all finalised I'll get back to you.
Disk price has gone up tho.I apparently got some of the old stock and the manufacturer has increased there prices.
Disks are now Ԛ£75 pr for a batch of 10 sets
plus Ԛ£50- Ԛ£60 for machining
plus postage
I take it,your happy sourcing your own calipers and fabricating a caliper mounting bracket??

You'll find Brembos fitted to Alfa romeo 156s/Seat Cupra R's/Ford Focus RS.
To name but a few.
I Suppose you could use single piston sliding calipers (as Andy suggests)From the BM range or poss 2 pot sliding calipers from say an Audi A8/Scooby etc.
I'll finalise the cost for the machined disks shortly.

You would just have to source the calipers.
You wouldn't have to "source" a caliper bracket.
Any competant machine shop can make a pair up for you.
Shouldn't be "horrendously" expensive.
