which is a quicker and a better engine a out of the 2 as i might be doing a conversion to my cab
whats the power of the E28 2.8
and the E30 2.7 conversion made from the 325i m20 and 525e bottem end?

im not sure i been told that the e28 2.8 produces about 205 bhp
any one have this engine or drove a car with one in? also want to know what the fuel economy is like on both engines
if i go for the e28 i will put all the stuff in from that engine the prop, ecu, diff, gearbox,

the 2.8 M30 produces in the region of 183bhp.

as theo said the e28 engine is an m30

If you were gonna put a 2.8 m30 in you might aswel put in a 3.5 m30 for the work your gonna be doing??
