Having read the reviews about it's driveability and teh cars feverish desive to be driven sideways, I need one now. Find it and bring it to me.

I have to agree, my last car was a E46 and I have to say I prefer the looks of the E30, I'm 29 so not like I'm an old fart or anything, these days one car looks much like another, seeing something square on the roads is a nice sight.

they're aston/ferrari type looking things and think that look fantastic

everybody at my dealership thinks they look hot, and its not usual that everyone thinks the same thing!!!

Yeah, so is the Hyundai Coupe, which brings me back to my earlier point that new cars all look very much the same, not saying they're not nice cars, but a Z4, an Aston or a Ferrari?, I know which one I'd choose and it's not made in Germany. winkeye

Looking like something is all very well and good, but it's just not the real thing now is it?.

Not sold on the shape.

The old one was lairy with wide arches and massive wheels - this looks too tame and normal.

If it had big fat arches and more aggressive styling I would have liked it.

It's probably a very capable car though.

It's not that I dis-like it, it does nothing for me, would rather have an E46 M3, a car that LOOKS special and original.

an E46 M3!!! these look like a really nice coupe that got upset and overfed itself on chips and pizza. i hate the E46 M3 (mind you, i do work on them everyday!!) but the CSL is cool

id rather have a Z4 coupe than an M3 any day

I think every car will evolve into the same'ish shape, a teardrop basicaly.
They'll all have a similar front to create a bow wave (Audi TT comes to mind) and as slim a rear end as they can have to reduce the drag. Maybe even a single rear wheel for the steering (Thrust SSC).

We just have to put up with all the dodgy shapes in between (untill we all drive electric cars)

Can't afford a Z4 so maybe i'll settle for the Z3 coupe, (mmmmmm where's my link to e-bay.........)
