Does any one recognise this chip, I know I have asked before but I had no intention of fitting it then and now I do and can't find the old post. How do i know if it will work with my ecu?

I've got an '88 325i. Which number on the ecu do I look at to find out?
Cheers Guys :)

I could have sworn I have a 073 ecu  . Tell me where the number is and I'll go and check. On the other hand if it won't go, how much do I ask for it on Ebay or to E30 zonies? How much are the zone chips everyone says they are good? What are the changes to the engine charachteristics (sp) bhp mpg etc.

Oh and cheers Ant

If I can cover the cost ish of a Zone chip I'll be happy.

i didn't think you could chip chrome bumper cars as they ran jet-tronic managment, instead of the latter style mo-tronic system.

I think the point Ant will make is that you can but, it just makes sod all difference and you might as well go the traditional exhaust/ air filter/ fuel pressure/ porting route.

you can chip all the chrome 325s, they are motronic and therfore fully mapped for fuel and ignition, jetronic is fuel only hence the chip or no chip debate, as I stted in a previous post I will not take anyones Ԛ£Ã”šÃ‚£ for a jetronic chip , its money better spent 8)

for zone chip info mail the chips@ addy dude
