Any of you guys in the know reckon i could get an adaptor plate made to fit a different manual gearbox onto the m60 v8.
Finding it almost impossible to get a manual box and the prices are just ridiculous when i find one due to them being rocking horse poo.
thought maybe i could uise a different more readily avaiable box which may work out cheaper and be better if i needed a replacement in the future .
any views would be appreciated.

Marlin have used BMW engines, but only with a BMW box,AFAIK.

From PPF - Tremac T56 6spd gearbox on an S38 M5 motor....

Not sure how ideal that is or how long it would last, but its fitted to an E30 M3 with somewhere around 800bhp and AFAIK its not broke yet.
