I am going to upgrade the brakes on my car. Any help on where I can get the parts etc would be great. Cheers.

Looking for goodridge hoses,
alternate disks (any advice)
and ferodo ds2500 pads

Is this the best way to go or is there an alternative which isn't silly money like the AP kit?

If your talking of the E30 M3 sport evo (5stud wheels), why not look into fitting E36 M3 front struts complete, readily available from broken cars and with massive brakes as standard, finish it off with a Z3M master cylinder, should be a good conversion.
