does anyone know what size the bolts are used for a starter motor, ive lost em and am in the shit! lol
can i just put any bolt in that fits or are they specific ones?

Any bolt that has the correct thread should be fine.

I think that the starter bolts on the M20 engines are gearbox bellhousing bolts too. (?) If so you could 'borrow' a couple of other bellhousing bolts (not sure they are all the same length though) from your car and use those, replace the once you borrow later, at least you can drive it!

Hope this is correct and helpful, someone might put me right if I'm wrong but might be worth a go!

M10 x 65mm if it's the E30 320 (assumtion from your user name) just had a look on my ETK :D
