But, talking to the guy who looks after the nasty bits of work on my cars (rear beam bushes, inlet cam sensors, etc - you know the stuff) he's got a 318 E30 that he was going to prepare for track work. Now's he's heard of my old 318iS he's going to buy it! Yay!
He did the rear beam bushes on this anyway, and a few other bits and bobs, so he knows the car and is prepared to buy it sight unseen from Hertfordshire.
So, hopefully, we'll be going down to pick it up the week after next. I'm dead excited and it's not even for me!
Maybe if I ask nicely I'll be able to 'borrow' it every now and again... maybe.
