the button on the boot of my 1991 e30 is stuck in the in position and i cannot open the boot. I can turn the key from horizontal to vertical but only take the key out horizontally. Iv tried playing with another key to activate the central locking while the button, key are vertical..
im trying to open the boot obviously with the central locking open,,
Iv also sprayed the lock, button with plenty wd40, I really dont want to drill out the lock and have one more ket to deal with,
surely someone else has had this problem,
please help,,

mine has started doing this mate,but fixed by wd40 and wriggle of key etc,id keep trying that for a while,hope this helps.

ive had this as well. soak it with wd40, leave it for an hour or so then go back.
It will eventually realese. don't get stressed with it though otherwise you'll break the key in it!
