How on earth are you meant to fit this? Is there some sort of special technique?

I've tried all sorts and it still falls off on hard cornering :?

mate, if you are talking about the 1 inch wide trim on the outer sill that runs just above the sill and just under the door, then it has two types of clip, one at the front that needs to be fitted inside the runner of the trim off the car, then align this clip with its hole, push it in, the other four or five clips should be fitted to the car first then require a good hit with the palm of your hand and on it goes

Thanks Mr. Lee.

The "runner" clip on mine is broken I think, though it doesn't seem like this is an essential part in holding the thing on? I've given it a good hit both times when fitting it :?

I'll get a new runner clip and see how it goes from there I suppose.

yeah one of mine broke too, so i filled the runner with black silicone, whacked it on, wiped the excess off and left it for an hour to dry, not come off yet, but maybe i dont corner as hard as you winkeye
