Right ive drained diesel, got her running and think ive solved wheel noise(overtightened nuts]. Put new bbs wheels on and it looks like rear passenger side one is buckled, only its not because old bottle top one looks the same when on.Had wheel bearing checked and thats ok, does,nt seem to be disc as there is no rubbing on caliper. What other causes could there be.Bearing in mind i had garage look at it yesterday and they found nothing.

What do you mean by "buckled"? If it looks out of line, i.e. too much toe in, it could be a bent trailing arm.

When i said bucled i meant it looks ok until its jacked up,then when wheel is spun it looks bent but have tried changing wheels and same result. Not really up on suspension,or anything mechanical but shouldnt garage have picked up on the trailing arm yesterday?.Your description was spot on btw, wheel looks too far out at top and too far in at bottom.

Not exactly what I meant - "toe in" would mean that the wheel was too far in at the front - mine had a bent trailing arm, and this was the visible symptom.

Doesn't seem like a bent trailing arm if it's spinning wrong. May be something to do with the hub.

Just a thought, should there be any play in the driveshaft,i can move mine back and forwards and im now wondering if i damaged it when i spun off on wet road the first night i picked car up.Actually had a motorcyclist wave me down because he thought my wheel was coming off.Think id better park her up till its sorted.

definately sounds like youve bent something rather than the wheel being buckled.garage should have picked up on it but id get a second opinion from a different garage.
