Hi, I'm new to this forum, but I recognise some names from the E36 and trackday ones ;)
I've just bought a 1989 E30 325 tourer and want to sharpen it up a bit as it seems very soggy.
It wont get any track use, just road.
Are there any cheap mod's that make a difference i.e. strut brace, bushes, springs from a different model ets, etc?
Cheers

Welcome!
Probably a set of springs and a set of H&R Anti roll bars will do the trick.
Problem is that Touring springs are very expensive.
Ideally, go for the H&R Cup kit, this will transform your car. I've used the Cup kit ona toruing and taken it on track. Did really well. No harsh ride either.

I'm no expert, but I do have a 325i touring and my personal wishlist is:
New springs (standard height, I live in the country and can't use a dropped car)
uprated ARBs
New bushes as required
Not sure about shocks yet, I'll see what springs I end up with.

E30 Touring 0.35 cD - more slippery than prison soap

Thanks guys
I have to be carefull not to go in too hard with it because I already have a race prepped E36 M3 which started the same as this and I just kept upgrading until I had a Kumho car
Bushes, ARB's, springs and shocks doesn't sound too bad though as long as it's not too harsh a ride.
I've already found myself looking at bbtb's, chips and induction kits though
I'll have to hide my wallet from myself.
Cheers

Think I'd better stick with supsension for now or I'll end up divorced if I start another after just finishing the E36
