Can anyone help.
I had a wiring problem with a headlamp, with only one headlight working correctly, so they were both wired together. Both lights now work perfectly but after a few minutes the headlamp light comes on on the check panel to say there is a fault. Both lights however are still ok - make sense ?

Hard to say without more details (& without knowing how the check panel detects a problem!), but I'd guess it's to do with how you've wired it. If you've just taken a feed across from one headlamp to the other, you'll be drawing far more current than intended through the wires to the first lamp. That'll make em heat up & raise their resistance => check panel detects the fault?

Even if I'm wrong (quite likely), your description of how you've wired it doesn't sound like the best idea in the world ever... why not fix it properly & see if that works?!
