Touring and Sport insurance groups.

Does anyone know what insurance groups the e30 325i touring and e30 325i sport are, as ive been quoted the same on both cars, i thought the touring would have been cheaper !!

when insured the touring last year i was a bit shocked to see it was the same insurance group as the sport 16 iirc

The Parkers price guide has the 325i at group 15-16, the 325iSE at group 15-17 and the Sport and touring at group 16-17

Ive had quotes for a base model 325i and my Sport, and recently my 318i touring converted to 325i. All the quotes were the same, by about £10 depending on the value of the car.

Although weirdly, the 318i touring converted to 325i was cheapest by a long way, even cheaper than a standard 325i touring
