Hi Zone, I need a new front section or system, manifold back, as my front silencer is rattling to fcuk
I'm in a dilemma whether to go for a standard BMW front section (£260) or get a full stainless system. Such systems for an IS seem to be quite hard to come by tho. Anyone have any suggestions for systems to fit the IS, or I could go for a custom job. A local guy wants £428 for system in 2 1/4" 409 stainless (which I heard can rust??) I want to keep noise pretty standard. Any advice appreciated.
Cheers, Al

Hi Alex, might be worth checking these people out
http://www.powerflowexhausts.net/HOME.CFM
I once had a complete stainless steel exhaust build on an old Mondeo, came with a lifetime warranty, could pick you own noise levels and choose your own tailpipe as the exhaust is built onto your car rather than off the shelf. If I remember rightly this whole thing cost me £299, was a few years ago mind.
Good luck
