Hi People!!

Every so often my car decides to start cutting out when it comes to stand still eg at a red light... the idle tends to waver then out she goes!! Does anyone else get this 90% of the time shes fine but then all of a sudden..... there it goes again..... theres nothing more frustrating than a un-trust-worthy car!!!

i sometimes have that problem too, i will drive my car a bit hard, and come to a stop at a robot and then the engine cuts out or this one time i had to do a emergency stop and she cut out. 97% of the time she is fine. I think if it gets worst i would check and clean the AFM (air flow meter) and check for cracks in the plastic pipes around the TB (throttle body)

I bet you a can of Carb cleaner that its the ICV or Idle Control Valve.

but also check for vacuum leaks especially in the big rubber hose between AFM and TB
