induction, replacement panel filter or stick with original?

my past experience with induction kits have been mixed sometimes the car responds better sometimes it feels slower.

what are your thoughts on the best set up?

From what people have said, the best is the original airbox with a replacement panel filter.

Induction kits take in to much hot air from the engine bay, even with a cold air feed.
If youre looking for something different try the BMC carbon dynamic airbox. There is a thread in the Group Buy section HERE

A cold air feed to a cone filter is silly to have imo, cause theres no way its going to suck up air thru that pipe in a stronger manner than simple air flow thru the grill. I ended up removing my air feed pipe and just taking the backing plates off my headlights to give it a bit more air!
Ive got a new BMC airbox which appears to be a cone filter type thing but incased, better/less effort that an exposed cone filter with a heat shield i bet!
