Hi,

just a quick hello - I have been browsing this forum for many months now and just bought my 3rd E30 325i tonight and want to get it looking really nice.(BTW, its the red tourer with Alp reps and MTEC2 kit that no-one seemed to want :D ).

Anyhow, I would like to try out Zaino products but dont want to go mental. The car does need a cut so was goint to start with the ZPC using a rotary mop that I have (already used it using trade Farquela products for cheap motors). I was then going to use the Z2 Pro - is this enough or do I need the Z8 to finish?

And what about the ZFX flash cure accelerator, is this necessary to be used with Z2 or can it be used on its own?

Finally, can Z2 be used with a machine or is it best applied/buffed by hand?

Look forward to hearing your comments.

Pad.

Im by no means an expert on this but il try to help sa best i can until the people with talent arrive :D

Firstly, all the Zaino products can be used by hand - i do it as i dont have a mop.

2nd - You dont need the accelerator unless your really pressed for time.

3rd - I would get the Z1, Z2, Z8 and ZPC. The Z8 is not 100% needed but it really does make a difference. I use it between washes (especially at this time of year. It also enhances the 'layering' effect when you apply multiple coats of the Z2 and Z8 over periods of 24 hours.

4th - Take your time when applying each layer (especially the ZPC) As C76jon will tell you - prep is the key to the best results!

One last thing - dont forget to use decent cloths/pads when using it - it makes a hell of a difference!
