Driving down the road this afternoon I notice a worrying amount of steam (as if any is good) coming from under the bonnet. Hmm, me thinks. Slamming on the anchors and pulling up at the side of the road after noticing an exceedingly worrying level on the temp gauge I pop the hood and start to investigate.

Long story short. Split heater pipe pissing steam. Not good. I manage to patch it up with some heat resistant tape.

Great, me thinks. Ten minutes up the road... Oh you think you know what happened... You don't... The tape is still holding after 60 odd miles. What did in actual fact happen is I got a f******g flat. *HOW* can those two things happen in such a short space of time!!! I ask you. Not my day.

Well, anyway I made it to the stealers and paid up a tenner for a new pipe to be shipped on Tuesday. No rapage or me this weekend.

Ah ha, but I do have a date tonight :-)
