are you sure its suede as it is is very rarely seen in cars ..if it is you should get some cleaner from a good haberdashery department in a large store like 'john Lewis'
more than likely its 'alcantra' which can be washed with a mild soap and water

it could be alcantara its on the sides of my seats in the m3 i've used a suede brush on them today and they have come up pretty good!

dont brush them too much with a wire brush as its too hard ...as i said try that wash as wool mild cleaner or if you have any really dirty bits try 'brake cleaning fluid' its carbon tetrofluoride (dry cleaning fluid)

alcantara is man made suede
suede is just leather that has not been processed (to get that lovely grained pattern we all see) it usually gets some sort of help to get the plush feel to it but its just leather (or should be) and therefore just as hard wearing, although it is very easy for the napp to be flattened/worn away

The best way to clean alcantara is with alcantara..thats how we do it here at gibsonandboyne.com

that goes for suede too but it doesn't get any real stains out..re naps it and can transfer some colour

there are no stains or anything like that i just wanted them to look fluffier!! where can i get some alcantara to fluff them up then? thanks again!
