Whats the difference between the different diffs ?

Was wondering what the differeence between a Lock Diff, LSD and Open diff is ?

What's the diff 'twixt diff diffs?
An open diff allows free rotation of each wheel independantly.
A LSD has a percentage (25% on Sport diffs?) of lock-up between the wheels, to prevent slip but allow some variance in movement between the wheels.
A locked diff means that both wheels move together. Not good for cornering.
I think that's it?
