Hi guys, my 323i has a heater problem which manifests as a thudding sound from behind the glove box when the heater control is turned to hot and the throttle is depressed. Also, the hot air is intermittent and only hot when the thudding sound is present.
Suspect is something to do with the heater matrix/valves.
Any ideas on what is wrong and how I can fix?
regards to all - Chris

Heater hoses where they attach to the bulkhead in the engine compartment are thr wrong way around.
The way that looks like the "best fit" is the wrong way around!

cheers guys - I saw an earlier post that seemed to suggest same thing. kind regards to all and good luck to the lads in the next game on Saturday? Our boys have a tough game against croatia, but with some luck, we should see some action in the next round.
thanks Chris
