right result there fella!
usual practice is that they will either let you keep the car until yours is repaired (unlikely) or until you get the settlement cheque + 7 days
cheers

what you will have there is either what's known as a credit hire car, whereby your insurers have arrangements with an accident management company/ your legal expense cover to sort you with a comparable (yeah right) vehicle in which you are personally responsible for the charges, but you get 12 months grace on the charges, during which time the hire company recover the cost of hiring to you from the other party's insurers.
Or...
you are dealing directly with the insurers of the other party and they have hired this car in for you.
Did you take the $$$$ for the whiplash or are you still "considering"?

It was either a Corsa from the garage, or if that wasn't suitable a like-for-like!!
The 3 series BMW was unavailable, the S-class was off the road, so I got the 3.5 V6 273 BHP CLS-class!!!!

that'll be a proper beast once it's done though if he's going for a single turbo rather than the twin setup he'll be seeing 450bhp easily, or is it the old supra with the pop-up lights?

E30Beemerlad its not the one with the pop up lights its the one after, mkiv i think. But yeh hes going for a single t60 turbo. Another lad had the same kit put on his n/a supra and got 430bhp so should be something around there. ill get to have a passenger in it this week.

you jammy get
when my rover 216 got hit, I had to suffer a merc A-Class for 2 months! (while we argued about the value of my car)
they had ford focus, vauxhall astra etc which are similar to a rover 200 but I got the box on stilts!
